This policy explains what personal information ChopVero collects when you visit this website or place an order, how we use it, and what rights you have. We are the data controller for that information.
What we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, email address, delivery and billing address, phone number if you provide one, and details of what you ordered. Payment card details are handled by our payment providers and are not stored by us.
When you browse the site we collect device and usage information such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referring site, through cookies and similar technologies.
Why we use it
We use your information to process and deliver your order, to handle returns and customer service, to prevent fraud, to meet our legal obligations, and, where you have agreed to it, to send you marketing emails. Our lawful bases are performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in running and securing the shop, consent for marketing and non-essential cookies, and compliance with legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We share information with the service providers we need to run the shop: Shopify, which hosts this store; payment providers who process your payment; and delivery carriers who deliver your parcel. Some providers are based outside the UK, in which case appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses apply. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting and legal purposes, generally six years. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe.

This site uses cookies that are necessary for it to work, such as remembering your basket, and analytics or marketing cookies where you consent to them. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Your rights
